Barco, ASIFA-Hollywood, and Infinity Festival Hollywood invites you to a very special exclusive tech demo of the latest HDR laser technology that will change the way we see movies! We will start with a special look at “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” followed by a special presentation of “Thinking Like An Artist”. Join Sony Pictures Imageworks FX Supervisor, Pav Grochola, to explore the fusion of artistic intention and computer graphics in a three-part presentation. He first addresses the creative and technical challenges in creating “Spider-Man - Across the Spider-Verse”. Using examples from Spider-Verse, he then delves into the use of intentional information gaps to spark audience imagination. Finally, he shares some personal experiments that further illustrate these concepts. The presentation concludes with a Q&A session.
Presentation time: Two Hours
